Come our this Juneteenth and learn some of the history and basics of Voodoo from our lovely Ella. While this class is a basic primer and therefore anyone is welcome to attend, we ask that if this is not your culture, please come in a spirit of quiet observation and learning. Your respectful questions will be welcome, but please refrain from offering any commentary or interjections. Our Black family is the priority here. We want this to be a safe space for a community of Black practitioners to build.
Appropriation is a hot topic in the community right now. There is a lot of discourse on what it is, so we are going to talk about what we can do instead! This is a safe place to ask questions, free of judgement. You will not be attacked if you have a part of your practice that may be appropriative. This is a time for loving education and alternatives, so we can have the considerate practice we always wanted to have.
Intuitive Art Night(s) - Luca
Explore your intuition with intuitive art night! One of the staff favorites. We will call in an energy (spirit, plant, crystal, etc) to be present with us, and you will make an art piece to express that energy. Painting, colored pencils, charcoal, whatever kind of art you want! After we are done painting, we will discuss the energy that was brought in.

Grounding and Protections - Luca
Before starting any other working, every practitioner needs to have a solid grasp on grounding and protections. In this class, you'll learn a little about energy transference, methods for grounding, how to protect yourself and your space, and much more! You'll also take home a goody bag of products made by our very own Luca.

Do you need deities in order to practice witchcraft? Not at all! While deity work is a big part of some people's practices, there are just as many who work with other energies, including their own! This class is great for those who are un-learning their religious trauma, and practitioners of all levels. Come find your power.
