About Ekstasis

For years, Ekstasis was nothing more than a dream. A dream to have a place for witches from all walks to call home. A place for us to come together in support of each other. A place that didn't take from other cultures, but allowed their voices to be heard. A place to learn, practice, and grow together.

Then, once the founding team was assembled, the pieces fell in to place and Ekstasis was born. We are excited to continually grow into a valuable resource for our community.

Our mission is to foster personal and communal growth by providing resources, education, and community in a safe and accepting space for our witchcraft and otherwise esoteric community in East Tennessee.

At Ekstasis we believe witchcraft is for the people. We believe we can use the craft to empower, support, and grow. We work with the energies of the universe to balance injustice, care for the land, and create an earthly plane where all people can thrive. And that includes you!

Our Ethics

For the sake of transparency, we wanted to share with you our ethics.
(You don't need to agree with these to participate in things we do!)

• We do not guard access to learning about or practicing spirituality behind commercialism or a paywall. (while we have bills to pay, and therefore charge for some of our offerings, this should not prevent access to anything we do!)

• We do not condone practices where historical oppressors make money off the practices of historically oppressed people groups or closed practices

• We do not condone taking from closed practices (without a full initiation into said practice)

• We practice in a way that does as little harm to the earth as possible, as we believe we are her stewards.

• These will continue to be updated. If you see us acting in a way that goes against these ethics, please contact us and bring it to our attention!
